HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 30

Stemple, Swartzmiller, R. Thompson, Anderson, Evans,
Leggett and Overington)

Committee on Rules.]
Expressing thanks and offering praise to those individuals
responsible for the Statewide Trails Plan and submitting an
endorsement for the Plan.
Whereas, The Governor created the West Virginia Recreational
Trails Advisory Board; and
Whereas, The Statewide Trail Plan Committee charged the West
Virginia Trails Coalition with the preparation of a Statewide Trail
Plan; and
Whereas, The Statewide Trail Plan is now complete, ready for
public review, and for presentation to interested government
agencies; and
Whereas, The endeavors of the West Virginia Recreational Trails
Advisory Board, the Statewide Trail Plan Committee and the West
Virginia Trails Coalition should be recognized; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the West Virginia Statewide Trail Plan is hereby accepted
and endorsed; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the gratitude of the Legislature be,
and the same is hereby memorialized, for the efforts of those dedicated volunteers and professionals in completing this plan;
and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
copies of this resolution to the Governor, to the Commissioner of
the Bureau of Commerce, to the Director of the Division of Natural
Resources, to the Executive Director of the West Virginia
Development Office, to the Secretary of the Department of
Transportation and to the Commissioner of the Bureau for Public
Health.
